Headquartered in Hanoi, Vietnam, Vietnam Handicraft Exporters Association (VIETCRAFT) is the representative organization of all handicraft manufacturers and exporters in Vietnam. It is the leading organization to provide business services to its network of membership and Vietcraft is also the gateway for importers worldwide to do business with handicraft / home accessories and gift articles in Vietnam

Hanoi Design Centre is established as a result of the cooperation between Vietnam Handicraft Exporters Association (Vietcraft) and Lund University's School of Industrial Design (Sweden). This cooperation is supported by the Embassy of Sweden in Hanoi.

he needs of Vietnamese handicraft producers and exporters to add value to their products and increase their global competitiveness through product design and development can be readily met through close cooperation with the Design School. The School, relying on the long tradition and experience of Swedish design culture dating back to the 19th century, has made a bridge with today’s environment of technological developments and ensuring customer satisfaction. The School has its proven experience of training in design, consulting, research, development of samples and models in a workshop, participating in exhibitions and international design events, accessing relevant literature and documentation, and interacting with the business world which is a particularly important direction for Vietnam.
